WFTDA Officiating Clinics and Online Learning
Online Training for Certification
The Roller Derby Certification Program for Officials supports the training and recognition of performance for all flat track roller derby Officials. To attain all levels of certification, Officials must complete a set of online training courses and a test.
Visit the Roller Derby Certification Program for Officials Online Training portal to learn more. Note: we’ve transitioned to a new online learning platform. Read the FAQ for more information.
The WFTDA Education program is proud to continue our expanded in-person educational offerings for Officials around the globe. The WFTDA operates the WFTDA Officiating Clinics program in addition to accepting applications to host a Recognized Clinic and Clinic-in-a-Box.
The WFTDA-Recognized Clinics program is designed to support high-quality independently run officiating clinics where organizers build their own curriculum and event structure. See a schedule of upcoming Recognized Clinics and apply to host.
The Clinic-in-a-Box program offers groups or individuals the opportunity to hire WFTDA Officiating Instructors who can provide WFTDA Officiating Clinic training at a time of their choosing. See a schedule of upcoming Clinic-in-a-Box events and apply to host.
The WFTDA remains committed to consistency and standardization in officiating, as well as to providing Officials with the tools and resources needed to succeed at the highest levels. As we roll out these new programs, more information will be provided here.
