Note: League Administrators

If you were a league administrator in the WFTDA Dashboard, you may first see this page before seeing your Member Portal Home page.

To log in as the league admin, select “LEAGUE NAME (Organizational)”. You will be able to manage transfers, purchase league insurance coverage, and manage organization contacts from this screen.
To manage your individual account, you’ll need to click on the link that contains “YOUR NAME (Individual).”
In each case, you will have a link on your Member Portal Home page to switch between the two identities.

EDIT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

From your the Member Portal Home page, click on Edit My Information. From here, you will need to update and add information to your profile.
This includes the following categories:

  • Basic Information
  • Communication Preferences
  • Demographics

Basic Information – address, name, phone number and upload a picture

Communications Preferences

it is important that you UNCHECK the Do Not Email box, so that we are able to contact you with important information.

Demographics

Please note, there are many categories of information that did not exist in the WFTDA Dashboard, including Demographic information that requires an answer. For all Demographic information, there is an option of “Prefer not to say” which will allow you to keep your information private.

REQUESTING A LEAGUE TRANSFER

From the Member Portal Home page, you may also update your league affiliation and request league transfers by using the Manage Transfer Request link:

The Request Transfer page will appear.

If you are a member of a league, all your relationships to the league will be listed here. To leave your league, click the Remove link from each of your league roles. You will automatically be removed from the league.
To request to transfer to a new league, or add a secondary membership, click on the Request Transfer button.

Use the drop down menu, or begin typing your league to bring up your league selection faster. Select your league, then click Continue. If your league isn’t listed, please do not proceed. Contact your league admin for further instructions.
The league will reflect in the Pending Transfer Requests until the requested leagues’ League Admin accepts the transfer request.

APPROVING A LEAGUE TRANSFER (LEAGUE ADMINISTRATORS ONLY)

To accept pending transfer requests:
Be sure you are in your league record, not your individual record (Member Portal Home page). If your league link is visible in your home screen, click on Manage Pending Requests.

All individuals pending transfer will show in this screen, and you can click on either the Approve or Reject link to accept or reject a transfer request.
Once the individual is added to your league, they will need to go into their Edit My Information page and select the appropriate role(s) in your league (Skater, Official Coach, Alumni, etc.).

PURCHASING WFTDA INSURANCE USING THE MEMBER PORTAL

Insurance may be viewed or purchased by scrolling further down the home screen and selecting Purchase WFTDA Insurance, to purchase, or View My WFTDA Insurance, to view current, active coverage and insurance effective dates.

For new skaters of WFTDA-Member leagues, please wait to purchase coverage until your League Administrator accepts your transfer request or you will be charged the higher, non-member rate, which is non-refundable.

Other Insurance Providers

if your league has other insurance, that can be added in the Edit My Information link. WFTDA Special Event coverage can be purchased (for those who qualify) in the Purchase WFTDA Insurance link.

When you click Purchase WFTDA Insurance, you will be taken to the Purchase Insurance page.

Select the appropriate insurance product you want to purchase. You are only allowed to purchase the product if a price appears next to the product. If the price is $0.00, you aren’t eligible to purchase that coverage (only League Administrators can purchase league insurance).

Special Event coverage is only valid for specific situations, including RollerCon and non-North American participants. Event coverage is valid for the period of the event, only. If you are unsure if special event coverage will work for you, contact insurance@wftda.com before purchasing.

For participants renewing coverage, you will not be eligible to purchase until 30 days before your current coverage expires. Annual coverage will be valid for one year from the date of your original coverage expiration, as long as you renew prior to that date.

Select the product and click Continue.

To purchase, you will be directed to sign the Release and Waiver of Liability and answer qualifying certification statements. Please review each carefully, this is a legally binding agreement. If each statement is not valid, you aren’t eligible for coverage, so you should not proceed to purchase and should contact insurance@wftda.com.

After agreeing to the statements and entering your name in the Signature box, click Continue.

You will be directed to the Enter Billing Information page to make your payment. You may pay by credit card or bank account.

Follow the prompts to complete your purchase. Once complete, you will receive a confirmation of your order email. Retain the email for your records.

Proof of insurance

Insurance is no longer linked to a specific ID, but your coverage can be verified using your record ID, found in the confirmation of purchase email, as well as on your Member Portal Home page in the top left corner.

PURCHASING LEAGUE INSURANCE (LEAGUE ADMINISTRATORS ONLY)

League Administrators may purchase League General Liability and League Alcohol Liability insurance.
Make sure that you are on your league page by selecting their league link from your Member Portal Home page. When you click Purchase WFTDA Insurance, those insurance options will show amounts and you will be able to purchase them on behalf of your league.
Note: Your league must have General Liability Coverage through WFTDA, and must complete and submit a paper application, and receive written approval from insurance@wftda.com, prior to purchasing Alcohol Liability Coverage. Contact insurance@wftda.com for further instructions.
